Wartburg State School

Wartburg is located at Baffle Creek in the beautiful Discovery Coast region of Queensland, Australia. Eucalypts and acacias provide a peaceful setting for our school with Baffle Creek clearly visible from the school's front boundary.

Wartburg has 42 students from prep to year 6. Many of these students travel long distances to enjoy the friendly family-like atmosphere of our school.

The school was built by the early Prussian and German immigrants to the region in 1913. In 2013 Wartburg celebrated its 100th year of meeting the educational needs of the district's students.
