We welcome enrolments all year round in prep to year 6. Steps to enrolment are:
- Obtain an enrolment form.
- Contact us to arrange an interview and school tour. Please bring your completed enrolment form and if your child hasn't been previously enrolled with Education Queensland, please also bring along your child's birth certificate as well.
- Upon completion of enrolment we will arrange a start date for your child.
- Congratulations you and your child have now become part of the Wartburg State School Community.

To participate in our Kindergarten program children must have turned four before 30 June. There is no opportunity for early entry into the Kindergarten program.
Please submit these forms as well as any additional documentation (e.g. birth certificate, Immunisation History Statement and medical management plan if required) to the school to secure a place for your child in the kindergarten program.

Exemption
to compulsory schooling:
An exemption from
compulsory schooling
or the compulsory participation phase is available when a child cannot attend or it would be unreasonable in all the circumstances for them to attend school or participate in an eligible option. A parent
may apply for an exemption from compulsory schooling for their child
for a
period of more than 10 consecutive school days.
