The Wartburg State School P&C Association operates a Student modelling uniformuniform shop at the school. A range of sizes are stocked to suit most shapes and sizes.

Uniforms can be purchased from the school office Monday to Friday. Please speak to a staff member who will be only too happy to help.

Uniform information follows:

Student Dress Code
  1. Uniforms are to be worn unless in exceptional circumstances.
  2. Some special days will be set aside occasionally for the wearing of alternative clothing.

When uniforms are not worn, then sensible, comfortable, neat and appropriate clothes (as close to school colours as possible) must be worn. SHOES are essential to protect feet and BROAD-BRIMMED HATS are compulsory. Caps will not be accepted and should not be brought to school. No shoes, no hat = no play (this is a sun safety measure).

Certain items are unsuitable for school:
  • Bike pants (health / hygiene)
  • Sleeveless tank tops / singlet tops (sun safety)
  • Oversized T – Shirts particularly hanging out over shorts (safety/neatness)
  • Any clothing with inappropriate or offensive artwork / slogans

PLEASE LABEL ALL CLOTHING, WHICH CAN BE TAKEN OFF.

The Wartburg State School Uniform consists of:

Boy / Girls summer:  Bottle green Wartburg t-shirt ($20) and black bottoms (e.g. black shorts, skorts or sports skirt)

Boy/ Girls Winter:       Black Tracksuit
                                     Long sleeved green polo shirt
                                     Long black or green pants
                                     Black Jacket ($23)

Shoes:                         Runners
Hats:                           Bottle green broad brimmed hat ($9.00).

SunglassesSunglasses can be worn outside however teachers may ask students to remove them when participating in some activities due to safety reasons.

Students with a note from their parents to explain a dress code anomaly should understand the note provides information to the Principal for a reasoned decision to be made. It does not provide automatic permission for not adhering to school procedures/rules. To avoid students losing learning time the note should be taken to their class teacher before the bell in the morning.

All priced-uniform items are available for purchase from the School Office.
